new music || OLD CITY is a music series in Philadelphia featuring avant garde, experimental, and art music (whatever each of those means).

The series offers soloists and small ensembles an outlet to perform repertoire for their peers and friends in non-traditional venues. Sets run about 10 minutes each and shows generally last 1.5 hours. These concerts offer emerging artists, performers, and composers a chance to premier new work in a low-risk, supportive environment.
